Important changes to how you pay your taxes

HMRC are introducing changes in how people pay their taxes.

This article from Steve Bicknell highlights two important points:

  1. From 15th December you will no longer be able to pay taxes at Post Office branches.
  2. From 13th January you will no longer be able to pay taxes by credit card – HMRC are restricting acceptable methods to debit card, online banking, cheques in the post and Direct Debit.

It can be frustrating adjusting to HMRC changes – particularly when you are not aware of them! That’s why we are always available to bring the most up-to-date and useful advice to those we work with.
